CROCKER'S CHRISTMAS TREES
We are a small, family run business in Warwickshire and have been growing Christmas Trees in the field next to our house since the year 2000.
My son, Tim, manages the trees in the field and his wife, Amy, helps run the retail site and shop with me (Liz).
The older grandchildren are also a great help on our busiest weekends, helping to serve the customers.
We usually plant 3,000 trees each year (mainly Norway Spruce and Nordmann) in order to produce a range of different sized trees for our customers to choose from.
An average Norway Spruce grows about one foot per year and a Nordmann 6-9 inches.
This means it takes at least four years after planting before we can dig up a small tree for potting and your average 7-8 foot cut tree is at least 7 years old.
